Sens & Saveurs in Tokyo's Marunouchi to Reopen in October 2026 After Renovation

Sens & Saveurs, a French restaurant marking its 24th anniversary this year, is set to undergo renovation beginning July 1, 2026, with plans to reopen in late October 2026. The restaurant occupies the 35th floor of the Marunouchi Building in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and has been operated by Hiramatsu Co., Ltd.

A New Chapter After 24 Years

Sens & Saveurs opened in September 2002 alongside the launch of the Marunouchi Building. For over two decades, it has carried on the spirit of Jacques & Laurent Pourcel — the twin owner-chefs behind the acclaimed "Le Jardin des Sens" in Montpellier, southern France — welcoming guests into a world shaped by their culinary philosophy.

That philosophy centers on creating new experiences that resonate with all five senses through cuisine, space, and hospitality. With the upcoming renovation, the restaurant aims to express this vision more deeply while presenting it in a form that speaks to today's diners.

The renovation is part of Hiramatsu's broader efforts under its "Medium-Term Management Plan 2030," which the company launched in 2025 under the purpose statement "Beautiful Taste, for the Future." The renewal of Sens & Saveurs reflects the company's intent to further refine the cuisine, space, and service at the restaurant in pursuit of that vision.

Closure and Reopening Schedule

The restaurant will be closed during the renovation period below.

Closure Period: July 1, 2026 (Wednesday) – Late October 2026
