Seven-Eleven's "Toro-Nama Texture Cheesecake" Gets a Renewal with About 1.2x the Weight

Seven-Eleven Japan is renewing its "Toro-Nama Texture Cheesecake" (とろ生食感チーズケーキ), a fan-favorite from the brand's Shiawase Shokkan (happy texture) series, with around 1.2 times the total weight of the previous version. It will go on sale at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide from June 30 (Tuesday), rolling out gradually.

As part of its ongoing effort to improve quality while keeping prices reasonable on its most-loved staple sweets, Seven-Eleven is boosting the volume on this popular cheesecake. The renewed product uses two types of cream cheese — American cream cheese known for its rich flavor, and Hokkaido cream cheese prized for its smooth melt — creating a taste that is rich yet light and refreshing even in warmer weather. A high-temperature, short-time baking method gives the cake its signature "almost raw" texture, while the lightly salted biscuit base adds a pleasant accent in flavor and texture.

Rich Yet Light — A Cheesecake for Warm-Weather Enjoyment

The cake's "almost raw" texture is achieved through a carefully controlled high-temperature, short-time bake, and the salted biscuit base rounds out the experience with a satisfying crunch.
