Tsukemen Specialty Shop "Sharin" Opens New Location at Shinagawa Gran Passage on February 5, 2026

A new Sharin tsukemen specialty shop is opening at Shinagawa Gran Passage in Minato-ku, Tokyo on February 5, 2026 (Thursday). The restaurant will serve its signature medium-thick dipping noodles to office workers and travelers in one of Tokyo's busiest business districts.

About Sharin Tsukemen

Sharin is known for its "tsukemen" (dipping noodles). Born as a sister brand of "Rokurinsha," which led the tsukemen boom with its rich soup and extra-thick noodles, Sharin has carved its own identity with a deliberately "medium-thick" soup.

The broth is made by slowly simmering chicken, pork, and aromatic vegetables to extract maximum umami, then adding multiple spices to achieve a clean aftertaste and well-balanced flavor. The noodles are custom-made straight medium-thick noodles that allow diners to taste the wheat's aroma. They pair perfectly with the medium-thick soup, keeping each bite enjoyable until the last mouthful.

With generous portions, Sharin's tsukemen embodies the concept of Japan's "everyday food"—delivering on its promise of "delicious, affordable, and filling" meals that people want to eat every day.

Sharin Shinagawa Gran Passage Location

The Shinagawa area is one of Japan's premier business hubs, with headquarters of many global companies lining the district. It also offers excellent access to the Shinkansen and airports, making it a constantly bustling area with high foot traffic.

The new Sharin Shinagawa Gran Passage location aims to serve lunch crowds of nearby business professionals during the day, while providing a quality meal option for those finishing work or passing through the area in the evening. The restaurant will expand the brand's value as "everyday food" that adds color and energy to busy daily life.
