Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel Hosts "Nagasaki & Saga Gourmet Fair" Buffet

The buffet dining venue Gran Cafe at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel (Maihama, Urayasu City) has launched a "Nagasaki & Saga Gourmet Fair" starting March 1, 2026 (Sunday).

Supervised by Masayuki Haeiwa, executive chef of Nagasaki Marriott Hotel, the fair showcases the food cultures rooted in each region — Nagasaki Prefecture, abundant in seafood, and Saga Prefecture, blessed with fertile land — presented in buffet style. Guests can enjoy a luxurious "culinary journey" through the flavors of western Kyushu as spring arrives.

Nagasaki & Saga Gourmet Fair Details

Regional dishes from Nagasaki and Saga take center stage, with a menu making full use of carefully selected local ingredients, all offered buffet style.

Among the starters is the "Shiro Tekka Maki," a roll highlighting the delicate umami of white fish, alongside "Chilled Goto Udon" served in a golden flying fish broth that brings out the freshness of each ingredient.

For main warm dishes, the "Thick Noodle Sara Udon" — a signature of Nagasaki's noodle culture — and juicy "Nagasaki-produced Aji (Horse Mackerel) Fry" are featured. The lineup also includes a rich "Saga Beef Curry" made with Saga Prefecture's prized brand beef, and "Nagasaki-produced Barley Miso Bouillabaisse," where the depth of traditional Hagakure miso enhances a seafood broth.

For dessert, guests can enjoy a Butter Sand Cake with the fragrant aroma of "Ichigo-san" strawberries from Saga Prefecture, and a pudding featuring the scent of Sonogi tea — a local specialty — arranged in a cherry blossom mochi style.
