A new craft beer destination is arriving in the heart of Shibuya. shibu pub (シブパブ) is set to open inside the large-scale mixed-use complex Shibuya Sakura Stage, bringing a fresh take on urban beer culture through a combination of craft beers and fried foods served dipping-style.

The spot is operated by Transit Hospitality Management Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo), and is positioned as a new beer experience hub in the center of Shibuya. The concept pairs food and beer to propose a new style of city beer culture, open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM (last order 10:30 PM), making it suitable for lunch, dinner, and after-work drinks alike.

The beer menu features three signature craft beers from Shibuya Brewery:

SHIBUYA BREWERY PILSNER — Regular: ¥1,480 / Small: ¥960 (tax included)

Brewed under the concept of "aiming for the taste of draft beer on tap," this unfiltered pilsner is made using only active yeast, with soft water sourced from the foot of Mt. Fuji. Long cold-aging brings together a crisp finish and deep richness.

SHIBUYA BREWERY WHITE — Regular: ¥1,480 / Small: ¥960 (tax included)

A Belgian-style white beer featuring a lighter, drier texture than typical beers. Orange peel and coriander lend a fruity, spicy aroma that creates a refreshing yet layered flavor profile.

SHIBUYA BREWERY IPA — Regular: ¥1,480 / Small: ¥960 (tax included)

A well-structured IPA combining three types of malt and four varieties of hops. The result is a clear, vivid bitterness wrapped in a bright, floral aroma, with a clean finish.

Dipping-Style Food Menu

The food menu was supervised by chef Fumio Yonezawa of No Code. Fried chicken and fish and chips are served dipping-style, with a selection of sauces that change the flavor profile and enhance the pairing experience with each beer.
