From July 1 to October 12, 2026, a street piano will be set up inside the "Garden of Breeze" at Shin-Furano Prince Hotel in Furano, Hokkaido, where visitors are welcome to play freely.
The "Garden of Breeze" served as the filming location for the 2008 Fuji TV drama of the same name, written by playwright Sō Kuramoto. The garden is home to over 450 varieties and approximately 20,000 flowers blooming in rotation through the seasons. It is also one of the eight gardens along the "Hokkaido Garden Road" stretching across the Asahikawa, Furano, and Tokachi regions, drawing visitors from both Japan and abroad.
The piano on display is the actual instrument used during filming of the drama Garden of Breeze. Positioned inside the "Green House" — the drama's central set — it gives visitors the experience of playing music in a space straight out of the story.
Special Music Events: "Garden of Sound"
During the installation period, a series of live concerts called the "Garden of Breeze Music Festival 'Garden of Sound'" will take place at the Green House. Two pianists have been confirmed for performances.
Fumi (Pianist / YouTuber)
Fumi is a Sapporo-born pianist and influencer with over 350,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 140 million total views. She serves as a piano ambassador for the Hokkaido Musical Instrument Dealers Association and has been active as a Sapporo tourism ambassador since 2022.

Pianist Azusa Fujii
A pianist based in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Azusa Fujii performs across a wide range of musical settings including solo recitals, choral and instrumental accompaniment, and chamber music. She is also dedicated to teaching and passing on her love of music to the next generation.
