About the Grill

The Grill is a premium dining venue found on Shin Nihonkai Ferry Co., Ltd. ships, designed to provide a distinctive onboard dining experience. Menus change with the seasons, featuring fresh ingredients sourced from port cities and the surrounding region. The current summer menu has been supervised by the head chef of Otaru Authent Hotel, a group hotel located in Otaru, Hokkaido, bringing hotel-quality cuisine to the open sea.

This summer's menu features refreshing flavors and indulgent dishes paired with the rich bounty of Hokkaido, inviting passengers to savor an elegant time unique to sea travel. Separate menus are prepared for northbound and southbound voyages, as well as for lunch and dinner, so round-trip passengers can enjoy an entirely different dining experience on each leg.
