Japanese Dining & Bar FUGA (25F), on the top floor of Shinjuku Prince Hotel, is serving an "Evening High Tea" built around the flavors of autumn from September 1 (Tuesday) through November 30 (Monday), 2026.
The high tea invites guests to savor the season's bounty while taking in Shinjuku's night skyline from the hotel's top floor. Savories and a main dish that blend Japanese and Western influences are paired with desserts, along with a free-flow selection of wine, beer, and cocktails.
The three-tier stand brings together a "persimmon and shira-ae canapé," where the gentle sweetness of persimmon meets the flavor of shira-ae, and a "grilled eggplant with savory jelly," featuring eggplant grilled until fragrant and finished with a light jelly. Prosciutto, salami sausage, and cheeses such as mimolette and camembert round out a lineup well suited to pairing with drinks. Salmon marinated in Saikyo miso, maitake mushroom fritters, and herb chicken fritters bring further seasonal, Japanese-Western fusion flavors to the table.
A rich, savory grilled beef sirloin is served alongside warm vegetables. For a heartier meal, guests can also enjoy colorful chirashi sushi, finished with a nostalgic pudding à la mode for dessert.
Guests can spend a luxurious autumn evening watching the cityscape shift from dusk into a glittering night view.
