STANDARD DONUTS, a Japanese-made donut specialty shop born in Osaka, will open its first Kyushu store, STANDARD DONUTS Tenjin Nishi-dori, in Fukuoka's Tenjin Nishi-dori on Friday, October 30, 2026. The opening comes after double Co., Ltd. concluded a Kyushu-area master franchise agreement in September 2026 with 株式会社温度, which develops the brand, and this store is the first to open under that agreement.
Ahead of the grand opening, the shop will operate as a pre-opening for seven days, from Friday, October 23 to Thursday, October 29.
The Kyushu Journey Begins in Tenjin, Fukuoka
For its first step into Kyushu, STANDARD DONUTS has chosen Tenjin, Fukuoka, one of Kyushu's leading downtown districts.
One of Kyushu's largest commercial areas, Tenjin draws crowds with shopping, dining and culture, and is a lively city where new trends keep emerging. The location is seen as a fitting place for STANDARD DONUTS to take a new step in Kyushu and share the appeal of the brand widely. The new store stands on the site of the well-known "Tenjin Nishi-dori Pudding" (天神西通りプリン), making it a location representative of the Tenjin area.
The shop envisions donuts being enjoyed in a variety of settings, such as an everyday snack, a break between shopping, or a gift for someone special.
