From May 1 (Friday) to June 30 (Tuesday), 2026, the "Early Summer Strawberry and Matcha Afternoon Tea" (初夏のいちごと抹茶アフタヌーンティー) will be available at five venues across four cities in Japan — Hakata, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The event celebrates the harmony of sweet-tart strawberry and rich matcha in a seasonal lineup of six sweets, savories, and beverages.
Sweets: Six Items Featuring Strawberry and Matcha
The dessert selection showcases six items built around the pairing of strawberry and matcha.
- Strawberry and Matcha Verrine: Strawberry sauce layered with strawberry and champagne jelly, topped with matcha-scented foam
- Strawberry and Matcha Tart: Matcha cream and fresh strawberry in a colorful presentation
- Strawberry Mousse: Light mousse with refreshing lime jelly inside
- Matcha Macaron
- Matcha and Lemon Opera: Matcha ganache and milk chocolate in elegant layers
- Matcha Jelly and White Chocolate Lime Mousse: Matcha jelly paired with white chocolate mousse with a hint of citrus
Savories: Chef's Special Selections
Three savory items accompany the sweets:
- Salsify cream soup
- Prosciutto and mozzarella cheese fritto
- Salmon, avocado, and green olive crostini
Milk and strawberry scones are served alongside condiments of clotted cream and honey.
Optional: Special Dessert
An optional special dessert is available for an additional charge: a strawberry and matcha millefeuille parfait featuring matcha jelly, Uji matcha ice cream, and three-color dango, blending Japanese and Western elements in a dish inspired by the fresh greenery of early summer.

Two drink plans are available:
Standard Plan: One cup of Mariage Frères tea (a long-established French tea brand) plus unlimited selection of teas, coffee, and soft drinks.
Tea Selection Plan: Unlimited Mariage Frères tea selection plus all drinks included in the Standard Plan.
An optional special drink, "Citrus Spring," is available at an additional charge.
