Daimaru Tokyo, directly connected to Tokyo Station, is introducing three noteworthy sweets brands to its current lineup. Among them is Tarte Tatin, a beloved Western confectionery shop from Morioka, Iwate, making its first-ever Tokyo appearance.
Tarte Tatin: A Taste of Iwate in Tokyo
Tarte Tatin crafts its confections by hand using Iwate-grown ingredients and carefully selected materials. Both of its featured items are available at the 1F MVP Sweets area (near the Central Entrance).
Caramel Nuts — ¥1,631 for 5 pieces / Room temperature storage

Celebrating its one-year anniversary, the Caramel Nuts cookie layers house-made caramel and three types of nuts atop a crisp, fragrant cookie made with Iwate-grown wheat, finished with a florentine topping.
Apple Pie — ¥1,631 for 5 pieces / ¥2,549 for 8 pieces / Room temperature storage

The flagship Apple Pie uses only Kougyoku apples from Iwate Prefecture. The rich aroma of butter combines with melting, sweet-and-tart apples for an indulgent bite.
cafe The SUN LIVES HERE: Craft Cafe Sweets from Sangenjaya
CHILK Plain — ¥570 per piece / Refrigerated storage
Available at the 1F Weekly Select Sweets area.

This Sangenjaya-based craft cafe sweets brand is known for its signature triple-layer jar cheesecake. Each spoonful offers three distinct flavor profiles — smooth, creamy, and milky with a clean finish. The charming presentation makes it a popular pick for souvenirs and gifts.
OKASHIYA: Truffle Cookies with a Cult Following
Truffle Cookies — ¥1,400 for 5 pieces / Room temperature storage
Available at the 1F Weekly Select Sweets 2 area.

Matsubaya Saryo / OKASHIYA pursues the bold, pure flavors of its ingredients. The Truffle Cookies, part of the "Yoko" line, have a crumbly texture that melts into a lingering aroma. Black truffle's rich fragrance pairs with the depth of cultured butter — a combination that goes just as well with red wine as it does with black tea.
All prices are tax-inclusive.
