The Stego Pirates and their cheerful crewmates are gathering for a seafaring adventure.
Event Overview
UMAbred, the merchandise brand that portrays real active and retired racehorses as chubby, horse-like "UMA" characters, is holding pop-up shops at Shinjuku Marui Annex from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 30, and at Niigata Mitsukoshi Isetan from Tuesday, August 25 to Monday, August 31.
This time, the pop-ups will sell merchandise featuring completely new illustrations by UMAbred creator Nato Takatsuki. Set in the brand's fictional theme park, "UMAbred PARK," the goods depict the UMA characters enjoying the park in adorable new artwork.
Alongside the newly illustrated merchandise, the venues will also feature installations recreating parts of UMAbred PARK's facilities, plus a stamp rally and other activities currently in the works, for a "come, see, and enjoy" experience that goes beyond previous UMAbred pop-ups.
The Niigata Mitsukoshi Isetan pop-up is co-hosted with the netkeiba Shop. It offers a rare chance to see and purchase items normally sold only through the netkeiba online shop in person, including some products making their pop-up debut. Be sure to stop by.
About UMAbred PARK
This pop-up is set in the brand's fictional theme park, UMAbred PARK, and features merchandise using completely new illustrations by creator Nato Takatsuki.
For this second installment, UMAs connected to the champion racehorse Stay Gold appear as the "Stego Pirates" (with a few exceptions), joined by UMAs evoking the sea and summer.

UMAbred PARK Original Character
UMAbred PARK's original character, the park's "En-cho" (director), changes outfits to match each new world.
Here in the Seaside Vacation area, En-cho appears as the "Navy En-cho," tasked with keeping the unruly pirates in line. Whether that's going well is another question.

Stamp Rally
A stamp rally will run throughout the event. Customers who make a purchase will receive a stamp sheet on a first-come, first-served basis and can collect stamps at stations around the venue.
Each stamp is shaped like one of the park's world logos. Collecting every stamp might bring something nice your way.

Entry
After the store opens, visitors can head directly to the event space. Depending on crowd levels, entry may be limited or numbered tickets may be distributed, so please plan accordingly.
The purchase and membership benefits below apply only to the Shinjuku Marui Annex pop-up and are not available at the Niigata Mitsukoshi Isetan venue.

During the event, customers who spend ¥3,000 or more (tax included) at the event space using an Epos Card, or by presenting an Epos Card and paying in cash, will receive one random "UMAbred × netkeiba" sticker (of 8 designs) per transaction.
- The Epos Card may only be used by the cardholder.
- If presenting the card without using it for payment, payment must be made in cash.
- Receipts cannot be combined or split for this offer.
- One sticker is given per transaction, not per every ¥3,000 spent.

Customers who newly sign up for an Epos Card at the event space during the event period will receive a complete set of the "UMAbred × netkeiba" stickers (all 8 designs), featuring an original UMAbred × netkeiba collaboration design.
