Umizoi no Kicori Shokudo, a restaurant sitting right across from Zaimokuza Beach in Kamakura, has released two reserved-seating BBQ plans for the Kamakura Fireworks Festival on Friday, July 10, 2026. Instead of staking out a spot on the beach hours in advance, guests can book a table on the restaurant's oceanfront terrace and watch the show while enjoying BBQ and all-you-can-drink service.
Last year's Kamakura Fireworks Festival was unfortunately called off because of high waves, so expectations are running even higher for this year's display. With nothing blocking the view of the open sea, the terrace offers a relaxed way to take in the fireworks lighting up the night sky while digging into a BBQ spread — a fitting way to spend a summer evening.
Two special plans are available for this one night only.
The S-Seat plan (¥20,000 per person) offers seated terrace tables with a mostly front-facing view of the fireworks, along with a meat platter, seafood platter, and other dishes, plus three hours of all-you-can-drink covering more than 50 drinks, from draft beer to Kodama sours and sparkling wine.
The A-Seat plan (¥15,000 per person) includes the same meat and seafood platters along with three hours of all-you-can-drink from a menu of more than 30 drinks, including draft beer, highballs, and cocktails; depending on where guests are seated, standing room at the counter may offer the best view.
Both plans are reservation-only with limited availability, and in past years the event has sold out quickly. Since seating availability changes constantly, interested guests are encouraged to inquire directly with the restaurant.
Please note that on the evening of Friday, July 10, the terrace will be reserved exclusively for these two plans, while the indoor dining room will remain open for walk-in guests only (no reservations).
S-Seat Plan: Kamakura Fireworks Festival, Friday, July 10 Only
A relaxed plan that lets guests watch the fireworks in comfort while seated.
Plan name: Kamakura Fireworks Festival Special Plan — Relaxed Terrace Fireworks Viewing & BBQ, a Full 3 Hours (50+ Drinks Included), Premium Seat [S-Seat], ¥20,000 (tax included)
- Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, a 3-hour stay (last order for all-you-can-drink is 30 minutes before the end)
- Price: ¥20,000 (tax included), covering the seating fee, BBQ, and all-you-can-drink
- The plan will be automatically canceled if the Kamakura Fireworks Festival itself is canceled.
- Cancellation fee: 25% two weeks before, 50% one week before, 100% on the day
- Parking will be unavailable for the entire day, and the indoor dining room will operate as usual on a walk-in basis only.

The terrace, with 54 seats, offers a choice of relaxed sofa seating or table seating, making it easy to suit different group sizes and occasions.
