Tokyo Beer Hall & Beer Terrace 14 in Marunouchi, Tokyo is holding a summer-only fair called "Salt and Spice" starting Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Built around salt, which brings out the character of the ingredients themselves, and spice, which stirs the appetite through aroma and heat, the fair offers a full 12 dishes ranging from light snacks to meat courses. Paired with COEDO beer's Marihana and Kyara, it's a proposal for a Tokyo summer beer hall experience.
"Salt and Spice"
An open-air terrace unfolds in the middle of the city, surrounded by office towers, offering a break from the everyday. On the menu are dishes that make the most of Japanese ingredients and can only be expressed in "Tokyo," alongside a lineup built around salt and spice designed to bring out the best in COEDO beer. Experience a beer dining style with a different feel from typical beer halls and beer terraces — one that's distinctly Tokyo.
- Drawn out with salt: Smoked salt, dukkah salt, sansho pepper salt, and more are used to match each ingredient and cooking method.
- Expanded with spice: Roasted shichimi, fermented chili, sansho pepper, and other spices add aroma, heat, and lingering flavor as an accent to the dishes.
- Completed with beer: Pairings center on the refreshing Marihana and the citrus-scented, bitterly memorable Kyara.

Six Regular COEDO Beers, All on Tap

COEDO is a premium craft beer brewed by Coedo Brewery, based in Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, and recognized around the world. As its reputation has grown, COEDO beer has become easier to find in cans and bottles, but this restaurant is one of the few places that serves all six of its regular beers on tap.
Ruri — A premium beer with light bitterness and a clean, crisp finish. It pairs with any dish and makes an approachable first glass for those new to COEDO.
Marihana — A session IPA-style beer with a bold, grapefruit-like flavor. Its pale golden color and pure white foam carry a fragrant, citrus-like aroma.
Kyara — A refreshing, citrus-like aroma and firm bitterness give this beer its body. Colored like kyara (aloeswood), it's a bitter, grown-up beer.
Shiro — Low in bitterness with a very fruity aroma. Unfiltered, it has an extremely smooth mouthfeel, and its gentle taste truly lives up to its name, meaning "white."
Shikkoku — A mellow black beer with a toasty flavor that spreads across the palate, matched by a glossy black color that suits its rich aroma.
Beniaka — Very rich, with a luxurious depth and sweetness. Made with quality malt and Kintoki sweet potatoes from Kawagoe (processed as roasted sweet potato), it offers a beer experience unlike any other, crafted by the brewers themselves.
