OKURA's Second VALEUR Luxury Vintage Shop Opens in Futako-tamagawa on July 7

A new luxury vintage shop is opening in Futako-tamagawa. OKURA Co., Ltd., part of the GEO Group and a specialist in pre-owned luxury watches, bags, and precious metals, is opening "VALEUR Futako-tamagawa" on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, offering a curated selection of luxury vintage items. This marks VALEUR's second location, following the brand's first shop in Omotesando, which opened in February 2025.

"VALEUR" means "value" in French, and the brand is built around the concept of bringing time-honored value into everyday life through a carefully curated selection of luxury vintage (*) items. It offers pieces that have been cherished across generations, styled to fit naturally into an adult lifestyle.

The Omotesando shop, which opened in February 2025, has drawn a stronger response than expected as a showcase for the appeal of luxury vintage. Rising prices and shrinking supply in the primary market have driven fast-growing interest in vintage items among both the market and consumers in recent years. Building on the strong performance of the Omotesando shop, and wanting to bring the VALEUR experience to more people, OKURA decided to open this second location in Futako-tamagawa.

VALEUR draws on OKURA's more than 20 years of experience in the wholesale business, backed by reliable authentication technology and a well-established sourcing network. The shop also places emphasis on customer service, staffed by a team with backgrounds in high-end select shop management, apparel press work, and luxury watch sales. OKURA plans to keep improving its service and in-store experience so customers can enjoy luxury vintage items with confidence.

(*) VALEUR defines "vintage" as watches made in the 1970s or earlier. Items from the 1980s onward are categorized as "new vintage" or "young vintage."

About the Second Shop, VALEUR Futako-tamagawa

Location

VALEUR Futako-tamagawa is located in the Tamagawa area of Setagaya Ward, a district where refined culture, abundant nature, and a comfortable lifestyle come together. The surrounding area is home to a number of stylish commercial facilities and shops, drawing a diverse mix of visitors alongside local residents who value their everyday lives. With its strong presence of people who live in or visit the area with a keen interest in brands and fashion, OKURA expects the Futako-tamagawa location to attract customers who want to hold on to valuable items for the long term.

Merchandise and Sales Floor

The theme of VALEUR Futako-tamagawa is "a living room." Rather than leaning into an over-the-top sense of luxury, the shop was designed to prioritize comfort, creating an approachable, relaxing space that feels like an extension of everyday life. The sales floor centers on the shop's signature vintage Cartier watches, alongside bags and jewelry, and also features more understated, natural pieces that set it apart from the Omotesando shop. Including stock items, the shop carries roughly 300 items in total.

As a highlight, the shop offers around 80 popular vintage Cartier watches, the largest lineup of its kind in the Futako-tamagawa area. Among them, the initial lineup includes select pieces from the rare, top-tier "Collection Privée Cartier Paris (CPCP)" line produced between 1998 and 2008, such as the Cartier Tank Louis Dual Time Zone CPCP in 18K white gold.

OKURA's In-House Maintenance System

As the resale market grows, demand for vintage watches has been rising, while a shortage of skilled watchmakers has made it harder to find shops that can offer proper aftercare. To let customers enjoy their vintage watches with peace of mind over the long term, OKURA employs more than 10 in-house watchmakers, including a first-class certified watch repair technician, and handles maintenance internally rather than outsourcing it. At VALEUR Futako-tamagawa, OKURA aims to go beyond simply selling products, building trust with customers by offering reliable, skill-based aftercare.
