The Westin Osaka's Restaurant Amadeus Launches Special "Première Course" to Mark New Chef Appointment

Restaurant Amadeus at The Westin Osaka (Kita-ku, Osaka) has introduced the "Première Course" to mark the appointment of new head chef Eriko Yukino. The course began on April 27, 2026 (Monday), and reflects the chef's refined sensibility and technical skill, signaling the start of a new chapter for the restaurant.

Première Course — A New French Lunch Experience

Chef Yukino's defining focus is the expression of sauces. By drawing out the natural umami of each ingredient and layering sauces in multiple stages, every dish is brought to its highest potential. The menu is structured around classic French technique, dressed with a contemporary lightness, delivering flavors that remain pleasing from start to finish. Ingredients such as foie gras and lobster feature throughout the course, with each dish unfolding like a story that harmonizes tradition and innovation.

May-Only Tea Pairing Special Plan

To complement the new course, a special tea pairing plan featuring teas from global tea specialty shop Lupicia will be available from May 1 (Friday). Two teas have been selected from Lupicia's annual lineup of over 400 varieties — "White Sangria" and "Honey Lemonade" — chosen to enhance the character of each dish. The plan is offered at a special half-price rate during the limited period.
