Willumina Corporation has launched KC Hair Serum, a spray-type hair treatment designed for women who experience age-related hair concerns such as dryness and lack of body, but prefer to avoid the sticky feel of traditional hair oils and milks.
Development Background
Willumina conducted a survey among women aged 30 to 70 about hair care ingredients. The results showed that 64.3% of respondents found "collagen" most appealing, while approximately 40% of women in their 60s and 70s were attracted to "keratin."
Keratin, which comprises 70 to 80% of hair structure, is considered essential for addressing the dryness and damage common in aging hair. However, the survey also revealed challenges with oil and milk-type hair care products, including the effort required to dispense and apply the product by hand, as well as concerns about greasiness on both hair and hands.
The new product addresses these issues by combining the hair's main component, keratin, with the moisturizing ingredient collagen in a non-greasy formula. The spray-type container eliminates the need to handle the product directly, making it easier to incorporate keratin supplementation into daily routines while maintaining a light, smooth texture.

Key Features
Hair damage from dryness and breakage may be caused by keratin loss. This spray-type hair serum allows direct supplementation of the hair's main component "keratin" and moisturizing ingredient "collagen."
Simply spray onto damp hair before blow-drying and comb through. The formula penetrates deep into the hair shaft, leaving strands smooth and silky from root to tip. Ideal for those seeking hair with bounce, body, and moisture that brings out natural beauty.
Point 1: Direct Keratin Supplementation

Keratin comprises 70 to 80% of hair structure. For damaged hair, supplementing with the main component keratin is recommended.
The product generously supplies two types of keratin, providing thorough repair from the inside of the hair shaft. Even aging hair affected by dryness and damage becomes smooth and silky.
Two Types of Keratin:
The coating-type keratin covers the hair surface, while the penetrating-type keratin enters and repairs the interior.
- Coating-type keratin: Hydrolyzed keratin (from wool) (hair repair agent)
- Penetrating-type keratin: Hydrolyzed keratin (from wool) (hair repair agent)
Point 2: Collagen Formulation
For hair with poor manageability and texture, moisture supplementation with "collagen" alongside the lost "keratin" creates a smooth, well-controlled finish.
Moisturizing Collagen: Hydrolyzed collagen (hair repair agent)
Point 3: Spray-Type Hair Serum

Simply spray onto damp hair before blow-drying and brush through. Results in smooth, silky hair with improved finger-combing from root to tip.
Provides bounce and body, giving lift to flat roots.
- 99% beauty essence ingredients
- Fragrance-free, color-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol-free
How to Use: Hold 5 to 10 cm away from hair and spray an appropriate amount (approximately 4 to 5 pumps for short hair) onto towel-dried hair, then comb through with a brush to blend.
*¹ Hydrolyzed keratin (from wool) (hair repair agent)
