Plenus Corporation operates the set meal restaurant chain "Yayoiken" with 365 locations nationwide as of the end of January 2026. A new Yayoiken Suzuka Minamieshimacho Store opens on February 5th (Thursday) at 10:00 AM.
The store reflects the new brand image unveiled in December 2023, including the updated logo and symbol mark. It features a premium design with the logo signage, a noren (traditional Japanese curtain) evoking a modern Japanese aesthetic, and wallpaper incorporating motifs from historical materials related to "Yayoiken" (the restaurant's namesake predecessor). The store also offers tablet ordering at tables for a leisurely menu selection experience, introduces store-exclusive dessert items, and includes a drink bar for guests to enjoy a relaxing time. Naturally, the beloved "Okawari Dokoro" (refill station) remains, where guests can enjoy unlimited refills of rice, soup stock, and pickles.

The logo font uses a modern, angular Mincho typeface without curves, expressing a harmonious balance of quality among the Japanese text, alphabet, and symbol mark. The combination of Japanese and alphabet ensures instant recognition of "Yayoiken" both in Japan and overseas.
The symbol mark's form is inspired by the Y, Y, and I of "YAYOI," styled as a noren, with a rakkan (signature seal) reading "Yayoi" in hiragana in the lower right corner to enhance the noren aesthetic. The color scheme features "Yayoi Red," representing the aspirations of leaping forward like the sun, challenging the future with passion, and communicating with warmth and consideration, along with "Yayoi Wakakusa" (young grass), inspired by the budding of plants and trees in early spring—a nod to the meaning of "Yayoi" (the third month of the lunar calendar, associated with spring). These premium colors express a modern Japanese aesthetic.
