Hida City in Gifu Prefecture is the town that served as the model for the scenery in the anime film "Your Name" (君の名は。). The film was released on August 26, 2016, and reaches its 10th anniversary in 2026. Even 10 years on, fans from Japan and abroad continue to visit Hida, the model location. In the view from the railway overpass, a limited express stops on the same track as in the anime scene only once a day.
To thank everyone who has visited Hida so far, and to convey the feeling of "I want to see you again in Hida," a "10th Anniversary Bookmark" is being handed out at the Hida-Furukawa Machinaka Tourist Information Center (飛騨古川まちなか観光案内所). The bookmarks and display at the Hida City Library (飛騨市図書館) that drew attention when the film was released are also being revived.
