This summer, Yokohama Haikara Kimono-kan is inviting visitors to explore the city in a yukata with a new plan that combines yukata dressing and afternoon tea at one of five hotels in Yokohama. The plan, called "Yukata de Afternoon Tea 2026," comes in three options starting from ¥9,500.
Three Plans to Choose From
A. Get-to-Keep Yukata Plan — ¥17,500
Guests choose a new yukata and obi to keep from about 120 women's designs and 20 men's designs (a set worth roughly ¥20,800).
B. Rental Yukata Plan — ¥13,500
A full yukata set is available to rent, so guests can come empty-handed.
C. Bring-Your-Own Yukata Plan — ¥9,500
Guests bring their own yukata and have it professionally dressed.

For every plan, a professional dresser handles the yukata dressing, so guests who are unfamiliar with putting on a yukata can relax. Once dressed, guests head to their chosen hotel to enjoy afternoon tea prepared by the hotel's chef in a cool indoor space. Since the yukata can be worn home afterward, guests can continue sightseeing around Yokohama in yukata for the rest of the day.
