On October 12, 2025 (Sunday), Sumida Hokusai Museum will host the "Hokusai x Japanese Culture Exchange Workshop."
The event offers attractive content where visitors can experience traditional Japanese culture, providing special programs that both adults and children can enjoy.
This event offers hands-on experiences such as shuriken throwing, creative workshops, kimono dressing with photo opportunities in front of Hokusai's famous "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" panel, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience Japanese culture up close.
*Note: As there are no kimono available for preschool children, they can take photos holding items such as fans.
Participants can create original goods such as badges and eco bags with free design ideas, creating opportunities for interaction while enjoying Sumida's traditional culture.
The workshop also welcomes international visitors, offering them an opportunity to casually experience Japanese traditional culture and deepen mutual exchange.
