Valentine's Special: Rich Chocolate and Griotte Cherry Kakegawa Hojicha Crepe
Price: ¥1,800 (tax included) per crepe
Sales Start: February 1, 2026 (Sunday)
Availability: Limited to 30 crepes per day
Saryo Kamon no Ko is a Japanese-style crepe specialty shop produced by Hiroki Kawakoshi, who has served as manager at renowned sweets establishments including Pierre Hermé and Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse. The shop presents new creations in a modern Japanese aesthetic.

This Valentine's seasonal crepe is based on Forêt-Noire (Black Forest cake) using cherries from Germany and France, reimagined as a Japanese-style crepe.
The combination of fragrant hojicha tea with generous chocolate creates a rich and aromatic flavor. The decorative tuile cookie is made with luxurious Valrhona chocolate.
Guests can drizzle the griotte cherry purée from a dropper onto their preferred spots, allowing them to enjoy flavor variations throughout their dining experience. The elegant Kirsch (cherry brandy) adds a sophisticated adult flavor. The Kirsch can be omitted upon request.
The hojicha used in both the crepe batter and custard is from Kakegawa, which won the Emperor's Cup at the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Festival. This combination allows diners to fully savor the aroma of hojicha tea alongside the chocolate.
The crepe is finished with beautiful decoration using hojicha powder to create an asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern, presented like a parfait.
