Restaurant Ichinoichi at Asakusa Tobu Hotel Debuts Its First Afternoon Tea, a Japanese Three-Tier Box

SEASON'S RESTAURANT Ichinoichi (壱之壱), located inside Asakusa Tobu Hotel in Taito City, Tokyo, begins serving its first-ever afternoon tea on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The new offering, "Ichome-Ichibanchi Afternoon Tea: A Treat in Asakusa, Japanese Three-Tier Box" (壱丁目壱番地のアフタヌーンティー ~浅草でご褒美 和三段重~), is built around the concept "The most important time, without which nothing begins, at Ichinoichi."

The tea is served in a three-tier box filled with Asakusa-inspired touches. The temari sushi is made with rice cooked with citrus extract for a light flavor, and the desserts bring in autumn tastes such as nerikiri (a Japanese confection) shaped like autumn leaves and sweet potato cream daifuku. Guests can stay for up to 3.5 hours within the serving hours.

The drinks are made with tea leaves from Masudaen (増田園), a long-established tea shop founded in 1867 (Keio 3). The shop stands right next to the hotel, at the same Asakusa 1-chome 1-banchi address block as Ichinoichi. The selection includes Japanese black teas and original blend teas.
