The Aurora and Forest Story Exhibition — What Hygge and Fairy Tales Taught Us, running at the Denki Bunka Kaikan in Nagoya from July 11 (Sat) through August 30 (Sun), 2026, has added a new layer to its Nordic-themed experience: a scent collaboration with fragrance lifestyle brand Aroma Recolte.
Aroma Recolte Joins the Exhibition's Scent Design
Aroma Recolte will take part in the exhibition both by designing the space's fragrances and by selling its products on site.
The brand builds its fragrance lifestyle items around the theme of "time to return to nature," using essential oils and natural materials. Through scents drawn from nature's gifts, it aims to bring comfortable, soothing moments to everyday life.
Two of the exhibition's experience zones will each carry a scent chosen to match their atmosphere:
- Lantern Forest area — scented with Aroma Recolte's Neutral fragrance
- Aurora Immersive area — scented with Aroma Recolte's Focus fragrance
The scent tailored to each space is designed to deepen visitors' sense of immersion in the exhibition's story world.

The full range of Aroma Recolte products will also be available for purchase at the venue, so visitors can bring home a favorite scent they discover during the exhibition.
About the Exhibition
Abundant nature, and small ways to enjoy daily life — experiencing Nordic living may help visitors find their own "fragments of happiness." Featuring the mysterious aurora, a forest brimming with life, and the beloved world of fairy tales, this hands-on exhibition blends the history and charm of the Nordic region.
The Nordic region has short daylight hours and very long winters, yet consistently ranks near the top of the World Happiness Ranking. One reason may be the value placed on ideas like "Hygge," creating cozy and comfortable spaces, and "Lagom," finding what feels just right for oneself — along with the many small ways people there practice enjoying daily life.
Getting through harsh winters with a full heart, and making the most of a short summer: through exhibits that let visitors experience the Nordic region's rich nature and slow living, the exhibition offers hints for finding "fragments of happiness" in a lifestyle that treasures everyday moments.
