BEAMS Harajuku to Host One-Day "Clothing, Vegetables & Books" Direct Sale on April 9

BEAMS Harajuku will host a one-day-only event called Clothing, Vegetables & Books Direct Sale on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

The event marks the launch of I AM BEAMS Vol.11, a personal book series titled KATO. On the day, the book will go on advance sale ahead of its general release on Friday, April 10. Also available at the venue will be fresh vegetables harvested in Kamakura and a commemorative T-shirt released to celebrate the publication.

In addition, the 〈SSZ〉 10th anniversary 26SS Collection 2nd Delivery will go on sale on the same day.

The event offers visitors a chance to experience the clothing, vegetables, and philosophy of BEAMS buyer and 〈SSZ〉 director Tadayuki Kato — all sold directly by him in one place. A selection of his personal belongings and materials featured in the book KATO will also be on display at the venue.

Four select items make up this minimal 2nd Delivery from 〈SSZ〉. The spotlight falls on pants — which the brand considers "the most important item in fashion." The 2P trousers blends elements from past iconic pieces, combining zazen pants details with tech materials into a hybrid style that balances durability with surprising lightness.

The lineup also includes the BIRD WEP, an experimental lightweight outer with a strong material character, along with two T-shirts: one featuring original artwork by legendary artist Jim Phillips, and another bearing the 10TECK logo with an outdoor aesthetic.
