BOUL'ANGE, the original boulangerie, will begin selling a fair menu built around sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin, three flavors that define the taste of autumn, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Seasonal Breads and Sweets With Sweet Potato, Chestnut, and Pumpkin
The seasonal breads and sweets made with sweet potato, chestnut, and pumpkin return this year and go on sale from October 1. Two new items join the lineup: the "Black Sesame and Sweet Potato Épi," in which black sesame–kneaded dough wraps sweet potato and kanoko beans, and the "Pumpkin Tart," which pairs rich pumpkin cream with pecan nuts.
The autumn-limited "Kouign-Amann Pumpkin," a take on BOUL'ANGE's popular Kouign-Amann, also appears. Other items include the "Canelé Pumpkin," a pumpkin-flavored canelé coated in pumpkin chocolate, and the "Croissant Cornet Marron," which has smooth marron cream piped generously onto crisp croissant dough.
The lineup also includes the "Sweet Potato Croissant," which was popular last year, and the "Chestnut An Cube," filled with chestnut paste and cream.
New Earl Grey Items for Autumn Tea Time
Three items featuring Earl Grey are also on the menu.
The "Croissant aux Amandes Earl Grey" uses black tea in the syrup, the almond cream, and even the powdered sugar on top, so the rich aroma of Earl Grey comes through. The "Earl Grey and Milk Chocolate Scone" is baked with Earl Grey leaves and milk chocolate, combining the floral scent of bergamot with the mellow taste of milk chocolate. The "Sweet Potato and Earl Grey Baguette" wraps house-made sweet potato paste and sweet potato dice in baguette dough mixed with tea leaves, pairing sweet potato with black tea.
The Earl Grey and Milk Chocolate Scone is scheduled to go on sale in mid-October.

Baguette dough mixed with tea leaves, rolled around house-made sweet potato paste and sweet potato dice and baked.
NEW: Black Sesame and Sweet Potato Épi (黒ごまとさつまいものエピ) — ¥389
An épi made with black sesame–kneaded baguette dough wrapped around sweet potato and kanoko beans. It has a simple, gentle flavor.

A cake-like Danish with chestnut paste and cream inside croissant dough.
Croissant Cornet Marron (クロワッサンコロネマロン) — ¥422
Smooth marron cream piped generously onto crisp croissant dough.

A pumpkin-flavored canelé coated in pumpkin chocolate, for an all-pumpkin treat.
