Courtyard by Marriott Fukui is offering a seasonal afternoon tea called the "Spring Strawberry Afternoon Tea" at The Lounge & Bar on the 16th floor, starting March 2, 2026. This is the second strawberry-themed afternoon tea from the hotel, celebrating spring's iconic fruit through a diverse range of flavors, aromas, and textures.

The sweets lineup includes a "Strawberry and Sakura Millefeuille" layered with strawberry jelly, sakura mousseline, and delicate flaky pastry, and a "Strawberry and Tomato Crème d'Anjou" combining a light cheese mousse with tangy strawberry sauce and tomato compote. A fondant au chocolat is also served alongside a strawberry confiture, where the richness of chocolate and the refreshing acidity of strawberry create a harmonious pairing.

For savories, six varieties are available using local and seasonal ingredients, including "Fukui Salmon and Spring Vegetable Pistou Marinade" and "Fukui Pork Prosciutto and Foie Gras Canapé." The contrast between the savory saltiness and the sweetness of strawberry is carefully considered as part of the overall experience.
