New Season-Limited "Coffee Toffee Chocolate"

Coffee Toffee Chocolate

The popular "Nib Toffee Chocolate" welcomes a new limited-time flavor.

Crunchy butter caramel is enrobed in 70% cacao rich chocolate and topped with dark-roast coffee for a fragrant accent, achieving an exquisite balance of bittersweetness and sweetness that creates an adult taste and leaves a lingering richness with every bite.

The coffee used is "Mandheling" from "Kabuki," a shop located in the Kuramae area alongside the Factory & Café Kuramae. This collaboration cherishes local connections, delivering a new marriage of craft chocolate and coffee for quiet moments on long autumn nights.

About Kabuki

Kabuki opened in 2016 in Taitō-ku, Tokyo. The shop roasts and sells coffee beans, manufactures and sells chocolate, and operates an adjoining tearoom where customers can enjoy both. Their coffees focus on dark roasts using a custom, direct-flame roaster, pursuing deep roasts that still preserve each bean's individuality. In Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, they have brought back the beloved coffee shop "Rokubungi," cherished for more than 40 years, under the new name "Rashinban," while retaining its original ambience.

Bring the Café Experience Home: "Brownie Bite Flight (9 pieces)"

Brownie Bite Flight

The pastry loved since the opening of the Factory & Café Kuramae, "Brownie Bite Flight," now debuts in a new individually wrapped format for enjoyment in an even wider range of situations.

A three-brownie set that lets you savor each origin's character

This set allows comparison of three brownies that fully showcase the charm of single-origin chocolate. Baking them into brownies brings the cacao into harmony with the other ingredients, revealing a side you won't find in a chocolate bar. This release features cacao from three origins:

Cahabón, Guatemala
Flavor notes: macadamia nuts, vanilla

Zorzal Estate, Dominican Republic
Flavor notes: allspice, milk tea

Kokoa Kamili, Tanzania
Flavor notes: plum, yogurt

Bring the popular café experience into your long autumn evenings

Each bite-size brownie is individually wrapped; the box contains nine pieces in total. Dandelion Chocolate's single-origin chocolates each have personalities that differ by origin. When baked into brownies, the inherent flavors of the cacao meld with the other ingredients, creating expressions distinct from a chocolate bar. This tasting flight—long a café favorite for showcasing cacao's many personalities—can be enjoyed during leisurely moments at home, or presented as a sophisticated gift for someone special.

Café-Only: Two New Sweets That Color the Deepening Autumn

The café locations have prepared cakes and drinks made with carefully selected chocolate.

Customers can savor the aromas and textures that unfold with every bite, enjoying a relaxing autumn afternoon café time with profound flavors that only this season can offer.

Kuramae Exclusive: New "Rum Raisin Affogato"

Rum Raisin Affogato

At the Factory & Café Kuramae, a seasonal dessert for adults—the "Rum Raisin Affogato"—makes its debut.

The treat uses Ugandan cacao beans for both cacao nibs and chocolate. "Cacao-Nib Milk Ice Cream," lavishly infused with cacao-nib aroma, is topped with crunchy crumble and rum raisins. The nuttiness of the crumble, accentuated with diced almonds, adds fragrance and crunch, further enhancing the "nutty" aroma that is a flavor note of Ugandan cacao.

To finish, rich European-style hot chocolate is poured over it at the moment of your choosing. The warm chocolate and cold ice cream melt together, filling your mouth with a luscious harmony.

An optional extra of the rum used to soak the raisins is also available. The rich aroma of rum spreads, delivering an exceptional flavor for those who enjoy spirits. With every bite you'll experience toasty notes, a hint of bitterness, and the deep afterglow of rum.

A Perennial Favorite with Many Repeat Customers: "Mont Blanc"

Mont Blanc

The limited-edition autumn sweet "Mont Blanc," a customer favorite every year, makes its return this season.

While the leading role in a classic Mont Blanc is the "marron (chestnut) cream," this Bean-to-Bar chocolate shop flips the script by highlighting a chocolate sponge. The dessert uses single-origin chocolate crafted from Dominican Republic cacao beans. The moist chocolate base is baked with chunky candied chestnuts and tangy cassis, then soaked—while still warm—in cassis liqueur to elevate its aroma. On top, a rich marron cream made generously with Japanese chestnuts and lightly scented with rum is piped in elegant swirls. The sides are coated with caramelized almond powder, adding a toasty crunch. The result is a multilayered flavor where dense chocolate and silky chestnut cream intertwine.

This special harmony of chocolate, chestnut, and cassis is available only in this season.

About Dandelion Chocolate

Dandelion Chocolate was founded in San Francisco in 2010 by Todd Masonis and colleagues. After selling the web business they had co-run in 2008, they began making chocolate in a friend's garage. By returning to methods used for more than a century, their quest to recreate true chocolate culminated in Bean-to-Bar production.

At Dandelion Chocolate, they visit every cacao producer they partner with—sometimes even discussing and negotiating processes from fermentation to drying—before importing beans directly. Amid the many approaches that have emerged thanks to the Bean-to-Bar boom, they pursue simple deliciousness by using only single-origin cacao beans and organic cane sugar, allowing customers to taste the cacao's pure flavor.

The company opened its first Japanese location in Kuramae, Tokyo, in February 2016, marking its entry into Japan. They have since expanded to Ise, Mie, and Kichijōji, Tokyo. (As of September 2025)
