Felissimo Hosts Midsummer Art Event for Kids and Adults as Part of Art Meets EXPO 60

Felissimo is holding "Art Meets EXPO 60: A Midsummer Free Study That Wakes the Brain and an Art & Bar Where the Heart Unwinds" on Monday, August 10, 2026, an art event that children and adults can enjoy together.

The event is part of "Felissimo Art Meets EXPO 60," a project launched last year to mark Felissimo's 60th anniversary that is touring 60 venues nationwide over three years starting in 2025. As it did last year, Felissimo is again partnering with the "Kodomo Boken Bank" platform run by the certified NPO Florence (Chiyoda, Tokyo), offering the event's experience to families who often have fewer opportunities for such activities due to their circumstances, with the aim of bringing the joy of art to a wide range of people.

Where Art Meets EXPO 60 Stands Now, and This Summer's Event

Centered on "Rin-b!," an art program that has drawn more than 10,000 participants in Japan and abroad, the project has been spreading the joy of creativity across the country. Now in its second summer, the event offers immersive programs for anyone — from children looking for a summer vacation project to adults who simply want to clear their minds. Even those who feel they aren't good at drawing can use the original art programs to unwind and refresh.

Continuing Partnership with the NPO Florence

Felissimo continues to take part in the "Kodomo Boken Bank," a platform operated by the certified NPO Florence that aims to help every child grow through rich experiences. The platform lets families who often have fewer opportunities for such experiences due to their circumstances freely choose from experience content offered for free by participating companies. For this summer's event as well, Felissimo will invite several parent-and-child pairs to attend free of charge through the platform, continuing its efforts to share the joy of art with a wide range of people from a welfare, education, and culture perspective.

About Felissimo's "Rin-b!"

Rin-b! is a project that runs workshops built around an original art program, aiming for a future where everyone's individuality is drawn out, differences are recognized, and each person's uniqueness shines beautifully. With no notion of being "good" or "bad" at art, people of any age or gender can enjoy a new style of hands-on art.
