The Fuji Shibazakura Festival (富士芝桜まつり), now in its 19th year, returns to Fuji Honmotosuko Resort in Yamanashi Prefecture on April 11, 2026. The festival offers visitors a sweeping view of approximately 500,000 moss phlox plants in full bloom, spread over around 15,000 square meters, with snow-capped Mt. Fuji as a breathtaking backdrop.

Location Photo Wedding Plan
During the festival period, a "Location Photo Wedding Plan" is available for couples who wish to have their wedding photos taken against the pink moss phlox carpet and Mt. Fuji.

Peter Rabbit™ English Garden
Opening on the same day as the festival (April 11), the Peter Rabbit™ English Garden recreates the world of The Tale of Peter Rabbit, set in the Lake District of England. The garden was designed by British garden designer Mark Chapman and features approximately 300 varieties of plants and flowers for leisurely strolling.

In addition to the main garden, visitors can enjoy photo spots featuring Peter Rabbit and Mt. Fuji, a "Story Trail" walk inspired by scenes from the original books, a café serving original menu items themed around the stories, a gallery, and a shop carrying exclusive merchandise.

During the spring season, hours and admission follow the Fuji Shibazakura Festival schedule. During the autumn season, they follow the Rainbow Flower Festival schedule. Entry is free outside these festival periods.
Rainbow Flower Festival (Autumn)
In autumn, Fuji Honmotosuko Resort hosts the Rainbow Flower Festival, featuring approximately 80,000 colorful plants in 15 varieties — including zinnias and rudbeckias — alongside the green summer scenery of Mt. Fuji.
