Fujiten Snow Resort in Narusawa Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, operated by Fuji Kanko Development Co., Ltd. (headquarters: 3633-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture; Representative Director: Kazuya Shimura), began operations of the Mt. Fuji Observation Lift & Deck on December 22, 2025 (Monday).
Mt. Fuji Observation Lift & Deck

Fujiten Snow Resort, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, is renowned for its stunning views of the mountain. The Mt. Fuji Observation Deck at the summit of Mount Tenjin is particularly popular as one of Fujiten's most spectacular viewpoints.
Starting December 22, 2025 (Monday), the Mt. Fuji Observation Lift & Deck service allows visitors to ride to the summit even without skis or snowboards. The summit of Mount Tenjin faces directly toward Mount Fuji, offering a magnificent panorama with the majestic mountain looming large in front, while Lake Kawaguchi can be seen far below. To make this breathtaking scenery accessible to more people, the Romance Lift, previously used primarily for snowboarding, was modified in 2021 to allow round-trip rides without equipment, transforming it into a sightseeing lift. Visitors can enjoy the view of Mount Fuji on the ascent and the Lake Kawaguchi vista on the descent, each journey taking approximately 15 minutes. At the summit, an observation deck with space for 10-15 adults has been installed.

This season also sees the debut of a second deck. With even better views of Mount Fuji and more spacious than the previous one, it serves as an excellent photo spot.
