大阪焼肉・ホルモン ふたご is holding its third annual "Reimen Koshien" (冷麺甲子園) summer cold noodle event from Wednesday, July 1 to Monday, August 31, 2026.
What Is the Reimen Koshien?
The Reimen Koshien has been running since 2024. This year's lineup features seven cold noodle varieties in total: the signature 名物!! こだわりの一口冷麺, which has earned "Hall of Fame" status and is now a permanent year-round menu item, plus six competing varieties available for the summer only.
During the event, customers can take part in a ranking prediction contest: guess the final popularity order of the six competing cold noodles (excluding the Hitokuchi Reimen, which is Hall of Fame) and win coupons based on how many positions you get right. The final ranking is announced on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Six Competing Cold Noodles
Three new varieties make their debut in 2026, while two returning favorites have been upgraded with improved recipes. All are priced at ¥649 (tax included).
Ume Shiso Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
A returning summer favorite. The tartness of ume (Japanese plum) and the refreshing fragrance of shiso (perilla) create a crowd-pleasing combination popular across all age groups.
Egoma Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
A 2026 debut featuring egoma (perilla seeds), known for their high nutritional value. The sesame-like aroma and cool finish make this a good pick for a refreshing energy boost on a hot day.
Taberu Rayu Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
Another 2026 newcomer. Fragrant garlic and a punchy spice hit give this variety a bold character suited to those looking to power through the summer heat.
Tororo Bukkake Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
Grated yam (tororo) is generously ladled over the noodles, complementing the broth while adding a smooth, soft texture. This variety returns with an upgraded recipe.
Dandan Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
A summer craving for dandan noodles reimagined in cold noodle form. Toss the noodles well in the mildly spiced broth to get the most out of the flavor. This variety also returns with an upgraded recipe.
Salsa Reimen — ¥649 (tax included)
A 2026 debut with a gentle tang and a light kick of spice. The balance of acidity and heat is designed to spark an appetite even on the most draining summer days.
How to Participate in the Ranking Contest
After ordering any cold noodle during the event period, F-POINT app members can cast their vote via the app. Predict the final ranking from 1st to 6th place among the six competing varieties to win coupons based on how many you get right.
