Häagen-Dazs Japan is bringing a fresh concept to its assort box lineup with the limited-edition Wagashi Sweets Assort (Strawberry Condensed Milk / Matcha Tart / Azuki Milk Pudding), launching nationwide on March 24, 2026. This is the first assort box from the brand to adopt a "Japanese ingredients × Western-style sweets" concept, blending familiar Japanese flavors with Häagen-Dazs's signature craftsmanship.

The Häagen-Dazs Assort Box uses 70 ml cups — smaller than the standard mini cup — with two cups of each flavor, six cups in total. The format has been popular across a wide range of customers as an everyday treat to share with family or friends.
Three Flavors Inspired by Japanese Sweets
Strawberry Condensed Milk
A tangy, juicy strawberry sorbet is paired with a rich, milky ice cream infused with the depth of condensed milk. The strawberry variety used in the sorbet was selected from several types specifically for its pronounced acidity, achieving a balance with the full-bodied milk ice cream. The result is a refreshing finish where sweet-sour notes and creamy richness come together.
Matcha Tart
A slightly bitter matcha ice cream — made from a proprietary blend — is studded with graham cookies that add a toasty crunch. The combination of Japanese matcha and Western-style tart elements creates an elegant, indulgent flavor profile.
Azuki Milk Pudding
A smooth milk ice cream is paired with gently sweet koshi-an (strained red bean paste). Hokkaido-grown azuki beans are used, and the production method was carefully refined so that even in koshi-an form, the fragrance of the azuki bean skins still comes through. A quietly comforting flavor.
