From May 1 to June 30, 2026, Bar & Dining CLOUDS on the 35th floor of Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk will host "Sky Afternoon Tea – Evergreen," a seasonal afternoon tea centered around classic sweets loved across generations, reimagined with the restaurant's own contemporary touch.
The afternoon tea is offered in three daily sessions and is built around a three-tier cake stand holding five sweets and three savories.
Session Structure
Sessions 1 & 2 (11:30 AM / 1:30 PM)
In addition to the three-tier cake stand, guests can choose a main dish — either chicken or fish — plus a soup, making these sessions suitable as a full lunch.
Session 3 (3:30 PM)
The third session pairs the cake stand with a wagon service featuring six additional sweets, from which guests may select as many as they like.
What's on the Cake Stand
The top tier features two sweets: a Peach Marshmallow Tart, made with a hotel-made marshmallow that carries the gentle sweetness of peach, and a Cocoa Crumble Chocolate Mousse, a rich and moist mousse built on a base of bittersweet chocolate.

True to the "Evergreen" theme, the middle tier highlights three classic sweets with a modern reinterpretation. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich layers crispy chocolate cookies with a generous filling of deep-flavored chocolate cream. A Matcha Roll Cake riffs on the universally beloved roll cake using Yame matcha — one of Fukuoka Prefecture's signature teas — blended into both the sponge and a lightly finished matcha cream for a refreshing early-summer taste. Rounding out the tier is a Cream Cheese Carrot Cake, a moist, spiced rendition of the traditional British classic.

The bottom tier holds three savories: a Quiche made with generous portions of Camembert cheese, a Maple Smoked Salmon waffle topped with smoked salmon, and a Pâté de Campagne.

Sessions 1 & 2: Choice of Main Dish

Guests attending Sessions 1 or 2 can choose between Chicken Confit, bursting with savory juiciness, or Sautéed Salmon Provençal as their main dish, which comes accompanied by soup.

Session 3: The Sweets Wagon

The wagon for Session 3 features six sweets: a Linzer torte — an Austrian classic said to be among the world's oldest tortes — a Basque Cheesecake made with Fukuoka Prefecture wheat, free-range eggs from Chikujo County, and fresh cream cheese from Kyushu, a Chocolate Mud Cake, Macarons, Cookies, and Canelés.
