Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo (Bunkyo, Tokyo) is set to open a new wedding banquet hall called "Foresta" on October 25, 2026 (Sunday). The hall will be accompanied by exclusive original wedding dresses and an aroma experience designed to deepen the overall atmosphere of the venue.
Foresta is built around the concept of "Nature Traditional — Harmony Between Tradition and Natural Beauty," offering sweeping views of the hotel's forest-like garden and the open sky above.
To coincide with the launch, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo has worked with two longstanding bridal partners — Hatsuko Endo Weddings and TAKAMI BRIDAL — to create exclusive original dresses that harmonize with the world of Foresta. The corridor leading to the banquet hall will also feature the hotel's original aroma, "Healing Garden," allowing guests to experience Foresta through sight, dress, and scent alike.
Exclusive Dresses Designed for the Foresta Setting
Hatsuko Endo Weddings
Hatsuko Endo Weddings designed the Foresta dress with the bride standing at the window in natural light as the centerpiece concept. The goal was a silhouette that shines both in the abundant daylight and against the sparkle of venue décor.
The gown features sheer fabric that maintains a light feel even in direct sunlight, paired with ornate cut-work lace. While classified as an A-line, the dress carries a princess-like grandeur. A removable, wide off-shoulder piece allows the bride to present a classic look during the ceremony and a softer, more relaxed appearance during the reception or party.
Two exclusive original wedding dresses are available for Foresta. One has already been unveiled, and reservations and fittings for that piece are now open.
TAKAMI BRIDAL
TAKAMI BRIDAL has created a collection of three Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo exclusive pieces — one wedding dress and two color dresses — designed to resonate with the ever-changing scenery of Foresta across the four seasons.
True to the brand's defining qualities of "refined draping" and "graceful movement," the designs delicately reflect the atmosphere of nature. Foresta's grandeur, natural beauty, and the garden that resembles a forest shift in expression throughout the day, and the dresses are crafted to look beautiful at every moment: in the gentle midday light, the fading evening glow, and the dreamlike ambiance of the illuminated garden at night. Reservations are currently open, with fittings scheduled to begin in August.
A Fragrance Experience: Aroma in the Corridor
Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo developed its original aroma, "Healing Garden," in 2022 to mark the hotel's 70th anniversary. The scent was created to capture the natural beauty and tranquility of the garden, blending 12 varieties of 100% natural essential oils — including hinoki cypress, kuromoji, and natsumikan — into a floral-green fragrance that greets guests in the hotel lobby.
For Foresta, that same signature aroma will now extend into the corridor leading to the banquet hall. The intention is to create a "time capsule of scent" — a fragrance that, years later, can vividly revive the memory of the wedding day the moment a guest steps back into that space. By wrapping the path from the hotel entrance all the way to the banquet hall in a consistent scent, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo aims to offer hospitality that speaks not only to the eyes but also to the nose.
