Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo (Bunkyo, Tokyo; General Manager: Tomohiko Chihiro) will open reservations from Thursday, September 17, 2026, for its Christmas stay plans, available for three days during the Christmas season, in which Santa Claus personally delivers a gift that guests have arranged in advance.
Santa Claus Delivers a Gift for an Unforgettable Christmas Stay
"Santa Claus and Christmas Stay" is a Christmas-exclusive stay plan, popular for more than ten years, in which Santa Claus personally hands guests a gift that has been arranged in advance.
This year, the "Suite Room Limited Luxury Plan" returns, with Santa Claus delivering a gift and a Christmas cake to the suite room and guests enjoying an in-room photo session. Guests can spend special time with family or loved ones in a private setting, and can also access the Executive Lounge, which welcomes guests with holiday-season hospitality throughout their stay.
There is also a "Standard Plan," in which guests receive their gift and enjoy a photo session in "Santa's Room" (a banquet hall). For December 24 only, a 25-hour long-stay plan is also available, allowing early check-in at 11:00 AM instead of the usual 3:00 PM. Guests can spend a leisurely morning at the hotel from Christmas Eve, enjoying the hotel's Christmas decorations, dining, and a stroll through the garden without watching the clock.
In addition, the "Thanks to You – Holiday Special" stay plan is available for adults spending Christmas together, with a mini bouquet and sparkling wine included — suitable for time with a loved one, a treat for oneself, or an early Christmas with friends.
Christmas Decorations Throughout the Hotel, Plus a Photo Session With Santa Claus
Starting Tuesday, November 10, 2026, the hotel will be decorated for the Christmas season. A towering Christmas tree will appear in the lobby, and large Christmas wreaths will adorn the windows, marking the most festive season of the year.
In addition to the stay plans, the hotel will hold a photo session event in "Santa's Room" (a banquet hall), where guests can take a memorable photo together with Santa Claus, for three days only.
