Hotel Gracery Tamachi (Minato Ward, Tokyo; General Manager: Yoshiya Kaneko) is converting all 16 of its ladies' rooms into "Comfort Double Rooms" available to all guests, and simultaneously renovating its guests-only lounge, with both set to reopen on September 1, 2026 (Tuesday). A commemorative breakfast-included plan for the Comfort Double Rooms goes on sale from June 17, 2026 (Wednesday).
Tamachi, where the hotel is located, is one of Japan's leading business districts, home to universities and corporate offices. It was once a thriving fishing ground and entertainment district lined with traditional restaurants and inns. For this renovation, the hotel drew inspiration from the neighborhood's history — a place where sea and land, people and culture, past and present have long mingled — adopting "交" (ko, meaning "crossing" or "intersection") as its concept, aiming to create a welcoming space where guests' time and encounters naturally overlap and intertwine.
Comfort Double Room
All 16 ladies' rooms are being fully renovated into Comfort Double Rooms open to all guests. The warm atmosphere of the previous rooms is preserved, while flooring is replaced with carpet, a double bed accommodating up to two guests is added, and the design is refreshed to feel more comfortable and refined. Free space to spread out luggage and storage beneath the sofa ensure a compact yet functional layout suited to modern stays.

Guests-Only Lounge
The lounge — available to all guests during their stay — features a calm interior in natural colors and greens, with a variety of furniture to suit different purposes. A spacious central big table provides an open workspace for focused tasks, while counter seats toward the back offer personal time alone, and sofa seats allow for relaxed conversation. All seats are equipped with power outlets, creating a comfortable space tailored to each guest's needs.
As part of the lounge service, a new self-drip coffee counter is being added, allowing guests to choose from a curated selection of coffee beans for a freshly brewed cup. The chef's handmade sablé cookies — a popular weekend-only item on the breakfast buffet — will also be offered here. Guests can discover new coffee aromas and flavors paired with carefully crafted, homemade sablé cookies for a moment of true relaxation.
