Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura (operated by Nippon Hotel Co., Ltd.) has launched a new limited accommodation plan featuring an original handkerchief created through a collaboration between JR East Kamakura Station and メーカーズシャツ鎌倉, a shirt specialty brand born in Kamakura. The plan is available from June 18, 2026.
Plan Overview
The plan is tied to the ongoing experiential stamp rally event "鎌倉いろどりトリップ," currently held in collaboration between JR East Kamakura Station and メーカーズシャツ鎌倉. Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura is one of the 19 stamp locations set up across shrines, temples, cultural facilities, and tourist spots throughout Kamakura.
The hotel joined this initiative in alignment with the event's theme of "dispersed sightseeing" — encouraging visitors to venture beyond the usual spots to discover new sides of Kamakura. The plan positions the hotel as both a home base for exploring the city and a checkpoint to enrich the journey.
