Hotel Metropolitan Morioka is running "Metro Summer Fes 2026" from July 17 (Friday) to September 19 (Saturday), 2026, with chefs at four restaurants across the main building and NEW WING each crafting their own summer-exclusive dinner menus. The event coincides with the hotel's 45th anniversary year.
Pre-sale tickets are priced at ¥5,500 (regular door price ¥6,500) and are available from June 1 (Monday) through July 16 (Thursday) at the front desks of both hotel buildings and at each participating restaurant.

JUEN's summer course takes diners through the distinctive flavors of Sichuan, Cantonese, Shanghai, and Beijing cuisine, each reinterpreted with the chef's own techniques. The seven-dish course pairs with refreshing alcoholic drinks and original mocktails over 120 minutes of free-flow service.

The Crane's Bridge

Mukaituru serves a special kaiseki course celebrating the produce of Iwate's sea, mountains, and countryside. The menu features a generous eight-piece appetizer platter and seasonal simmered dishes incorporating ingredients whose Japanese names include the syllable "n," traditionally considered auspicious.
