The IKB Gourmet Executive Committee (Chairman: 宮坂庸之) will hold the second IKEBUKURO WEST GOURMET PARK 2026 over two days, November 7 (Sat) and 8 (Sun), 2026, at Ikebukuro West Exit Park GLOBAL RING.

Now in its second year, the festival aims to top last year's turnout of 30,000 visitors over two days, building a lineup centered on Ikebukuro's food scene alongside music, comedy, art, and content for kids that spans generations.

With less than two months to go before the event, this year's participating restaurants, performers, and programs are now being revealed.

50 Popular Ikebukuro Restaurants Go All In With Their Best Dish

This year's open call once again drew a flood of applications right from the start, far exceeding the available slots.

After careful screening by the executive committee, the 50 restaurants that will liven up this year's gourmet festival have been decided.

Chosen with an eye to genre, each shop's individuality, and balance across the event as a whole, the 50 restaurants will each serve their own signature dish under a "one restaurant, one dish" rule.

Walk the stalls of all 50 restaurants and discover a new side of Ikebukuro's food scene.

Each restaurant can serve up to one food item, though drink items are limited to up to six. Rice, noodle, and raw dishes will not be offered, in line with guidance from the Toshima City Ikebukuro Public Health Center.

The full lineup of 50 participating restaurants (in Japanese syllabary order):

FIELD OF VIEW to Perform Both Days

The artists set to liven up the stage are also coming together one by one.

FIELD OF VIEW has been confirmed as one of this year's performers.

Known for hits including the million-selling single "突然," the "Dragon Ball GT" opening theme "DAN DAN 心魅かれてく," and the "Yu-Gi-Oh!" opening theme "渇いた叫び," FIELD OF VIEW has delivered songs loved across generations.

This time, the band will perform on both days, November 7 (Sat) and 8 (Sun), bringing music to the gourmet festival from the stage at Ikebukuro West Exit Park GLOBAL RING.

Lineup: Vocals – Yuya Asaoka; Drums – Takuto Kobashi | Support: Bass – Hiroshi Sekita; Guitar – Takeshi Hayama

For safety and crowd-control reasons, FIELD OF VIEW's performance time will not be announced in advance.

Merchandise such as CDs will be sold after the performance.

FIELD OF VIEW

FIELD OF VIEW debuted in May 1995, going on to notch a series of hits — including the million-selling "突然," "DAN DAN 心魅かれてく," and "渇いた叫び" — before disbanding, to fans' regret, in 2002. From 2010, vocalist Yuya Asaoka began performing FIELD OF VIEW's songs on his own under the banner of an "Anniversary" series, and the group briefly reunited for the "Being Legend" event in 2012. Drummer Takuto Kobashi joined in 2019, restarting the band, and Takashi Oda joined from 2023. The band appeared at Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) in 2024, then announced and held a concert at Shibuya Public Hall in 2025 for its 30th anniversary, closing out the milestone year with a sold-out show. From 2026, the band announced a new single, "ラ ラ ラ ラ~次のForever~ / DAN DAN心魅かれてく~30th Ver~," and held a 31st-anniversary live show. The group is currently active as a three-member lineup of Yuya Asaoka, Takashi Oda, and Takuto Kobashi.

Masahiro Ehara Joins the Lineup

Masahiro Ehara, known for combining strong vocals, celebrity impressions, and comedy to liven up stages, will also be appearing at IKEBUKURO WEST GOURMET PARK.

Will he perform the recently talked-about song everyone's been buzzing about? What exactly he brings to the stage remains a surprise for the day of the event.

Masahiro Ehara

Masahiro Ehara has picked up numerous awards as a comedian, including back-to-back runner-up finishes at the R-1 Grand Prix and a win at the Gaki no Tsukai Yama-1 Grand Prix, and put his singing ability to use to win the title on Fuji TV's celebrity-impressions competition "Monomane Oza Ketteisen." Alongside song impressions, he is also known for detailed impressions of everyday moments, and has recently appeared in the stage production of Harry Potter and numerous musicals. His YouTube channel with his five children, "Ehara-ke Channel," has surpassed 200 million views.

A Famous "Big Eater" to Deliver a Gourmet Report on November 7

This year, IKEBUKURO WEST GOURMET PARK is also adding programs designed to make walking the 50 restaurants even more enjoyable. On November 7 (Sat), a special gourmet report segment is planned at the festival venue.

As for the reporter: a famous competitive eater is confirmed to take part. How will they eat, and how will they describe, the 50 restaurants' signature dishes? Details on the performer will be announced later on the official website.

This Year's MCs Are Also Tsune, Formerly of 2700, and Ikebukuro's Makoto

As with last year, the festival's overall MC duties will be handled by comedian Tsune, formerly of the duo 2700, and Ikebukuro's Makoto. The two will liven up the two days from the stage, where food, music, comedy, and the local community all come together.

A Gourmet Festival the Whole Family Can Enjoy for a Full Day

IKEBUKURO WEST GOURMET PARK's appeal goes beyond the food.

On stage, kid dancers and other performers with ties to Toshima City are lined up to deliver a variety of performances. The venue will also feature a shooting-gallery booth with prizes, held in cooperation with Rikkyo University SPF.

A participatory program will also let children work alongside painter and art producer Tsukasa Suzuki to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Workshops held in cooperation with Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design are planned as well.

Aiming to go beyond simply "eating" and "watching," the festival hopes to create an event where children can participate, experience, and take home memories of their own.

Tsukasa Suzuki

Painter and art producer Tsukasa Suzuki was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1986. From 2011, he spent five years in Rwanda teaching sewing to more than 200 young people, mainly single mothers. From 2016, he began working as a painter, drawing attention for vibrant, life-affirming works that make use of fluorescent colors. In 2019, he launched the "heART Project" under the concept of "connecting the world equally through art," and is now active across bases in Rwanda and Japan.

A Message From IKB Gourmet Executive Committee Chairman 宮坂庸之

IKB Gourmet Executive Committee Chairman 宮坂庸之

"I love Ikebukuro."

That feeling is what built this festival. It isn't an event company putting this together —

restaurants, businesses, local government, shopping streets, community groups, students, artists, volunteers, and the executive committee.

Different as their positions may be, what they share is the same feeling: "I love Ikebukuro." "I want to liven up Ikebukuro." "I want to support this town."

Ikebukuro is a major city, yet it's also a place where you can see people's faces. People connect with people, those connections spark new ones, and this event is being built through the strength of countless companions.

What we're aiming for isn't just a gourmet event. Through these two days, we want people to discover Ikebukuro's restaurants, walk the streets, and come away thinking, "Ikebukuro is such an interesting town," and "I want to come back to Ikebukuro."

Not competition that fights over a share, but co-creation that builds together.

Fifty restaurants and the friends who love Ikebukuro are coming together to create a new scene in west Ikebukuro again this year.

This year, too, the two days when Ikebukuro comes together as one are about to begin.

Event Support

This year, the festival newly received support from four companies and organizations representing the Ikebukuro area: Tobu Department Store Co., Ltd., Hotel Metropolitan, BIC CAMERA INC., and 豊島優申会. With the strong backing of these companies and facilities that help lead the local area, the festival aims to promote the appeal of Ikebukuro's food culture and support the local economy, while working to keep the event safe and lively.
