Kabaya Foods is releasing Honehone-saurus Revival, a new entry in the long-running Honehone-saurus toy candy series, at AEON and AEON Style stores across Japan starting April 27, 2026. Availability may vary by store.
Honehone-saurus first launched in July 2002 as an original Kabaya Foods product combining a bone-and-dinosaur-themed plastic model kit with a piece of chewing gum. All pieces across the entire series share a common joint, so parts from different sets — including special bonus parts included in each package — can be freely swapped and combined. This open-ended interchangeability has long made the series a hit among elementary school-age boys.
As the brand marks its 25th year, a commemorative exhibition, "Honehone-saurus World in Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum," is currently running through May 24.
