The exhibition "The World of Ikebana Artist Shogo Kariyazaki in Bunka no Michi Shumokukan" (華道家 假屋崎省吾の世界展 in 文化のみち橦木館) will be held from Thursday, November 26 to Monday, December 7, 2026 at Bunka no Michi Shumokukan (文化のみち橦木館) in Higashi Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Tickets are on sale now through the ticket site Confetti (カンフェティ).
Overview
The solo exhibition takes place at Bunka no Michi Shumokukan, which is designated a Nagoya City tangible cultural property and an important landscape building.
The exhibition is the second in the "Challenging Historic Architecture" series (歴史的建築物に挑むシリーズ), following last year's edition.
The venue, Bunka no Michi Shumokukan, is a historic building constructed in 1926 (Taisho 15) by 井元為三郎, an export ceramics merchant. A Western-style house with shimmering stained glass, an atmospheric Japanese-style house and a garden that changes with the seasons form the stage for the ikebana works of Shogo Kariyazaki, which bring out the beauty of the space.
Live Ikebana Performance and Autograph Session
During the exhibition, Kariyazaki himself will also give live ikebana performances and hold an autograph session, so visitors can experience the world of ikebana from several angles.

Visitors can watch up close as works are created with his skilled hand movements.

Times: Session 1 at 11:00 AM, Session 2 at 1:00 PM, Session 3 at 3:00 PM (about 30 minutes each)

Dates: Held on an ongoing basis during the exhibition (November 26 to December 7)
Condition: Limited to purchasers of original goods
Photos with Kariyazaki are available only to those who both purchase goods and register on LINE.
Exhibition-Exclusive Original Goods
The venue sells original goods such as original flower scissors, clear files, towel handkerchiefs and a book commemorating his ikebana career (華道歴記念本), along with special limited items available only at the venue.
