Kasugai Seika, the Nagoya-based confectionery maker behind the long-running "Milk no Kuni" candy, is releasing a limited-time strawberry flavor called "Strawberry Milk no Kuni" (いちごミルクの国) nationwide from September 14, 2026 (Monday).

Starting September 28, 2026 (Monday), Kasugai Seika's official X account will run the "Which 'Milk no Kuni' Do You Prefer?" campaign, inviting followers to reply with whether they'd rather try the classic Milk no Kuni or the new Strawberry Milk no Kuni. Ten winners chosen by lottery will each receive a set of three bags of Milk no Kuni and three bags of Strawberry Milk no Kuni.

In developing the flavor for Strawberry Milk no Kuni, we tasted and compared many strawberry milk drinks to find a strawberry flavor that would pair well with Milk no Kuni. We focused on striking a balance so the strawberry flavor comes through clearly while still letting the richness of the condensed milk and its clean, milky taste shine, resulting in a flavor that evokes a nostalgic, familiar strawberry milk. For the packaging, we expressed the sizzle at the top with a marble pattern inspired by strawberry milk, and incorporated red into the ribbon of the logo at the center as well as the top and bottom, aiming for a design that conveys the deliciousness of strawberry milk at a glance. We hope you'll try this new flavor of the long-loved Milk no Kuni.
