KODAK Apparel, a lifestyle brand operated by Hilight Brands Japan, will open a limited-time pop-up store at Miyashita Park in Shibuya from April 22 (Wednesday) to May 18 (Monday), 2026. The brand, which has expanded to over 100 stores across Asia with a focus on Korea, is known for its contemporary reinterpretations of Kodak's rich visual archive. Since opening its flagship store in Harajuku, Tokyo in 2025, the brand has been steadily growing its presence in Japan.
The pop-up takes advantage of Miyashita Park's mix of shopping, dining, and culture, offering both local customers and inbound visitors a convenient spot to explore the brand while out and about in Shibuya. The store is also positioned as part of KODAK Apparel's broader plans to expand further across Japan.
Concept: "PLAY" the MOMENT
The pop-up's theme, "PLAY the MOMENT," invites visitors to find new value in everyday moments during their outings and city walks. The concept encourages people to embrace life's casual, unscripted moments through fashion.
2026 SS Collection and Exclusive Items
The store carries a wide selection from the 2026 SS collection, including T-shirts and caps that are signature KODAK Apparel pieces, in a variety of graphics and colorways suited to different moods and occasions. Exclusive pop-up items and novelties are also available, offering visitors a reason to stop by even if they are familiar with the brand.
CHARMERA: A Camera You Can Carry
Starting April 22 (Wednesday), the pop-up store will hold a daily limited sale of "CHARMERA," a compact keychain-style camera that has been drawing attention on social media since its release in autumn 2025, with inquiries coming from both domestic and international customers. Its small form factor makes it easy to carry around during everyday outings and city strolls, blending into an outfit while still letting you snap photos spontaneously. The concept is described as "retro style you can take anywhere." During the Golden Week period, it makes a fun companion for exploring Shibuya.
