Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower (Hiraike-cho, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya; General Manager Toshihisa Yamamura) is serving a collaboration menu item tied to the film Minions & Monsters, opening nationwide on Friday, August 7, 2026. The dessert, "Minion's Treat Choco Banana Mont Blanc ～Goomi Arrives!～," will be available for a limited time from Friday, July 17 to Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
About the Movie
Minions & Monsters is the latest film from Illumination, the studio behind The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the Despicable Me series. The Minions open a spellbook in search of a monster to help them shoot the ultimate monster movie, and after chanting an eerie incantation, a glowing green cloud of smoke reveals Goomi — a monster even smaller than the Minions themselves.

A Mont Blanc Plate That Recreates the Film
For the collaboration, the hotel has created a Mont Blanc plate inspired by the scene where Goomi first appears. Lifting the glass lid releases smoke, revealing Goomi and a ring of lit candles around a startled Minion, recreating a moment from the film.
The Mont Blanc is generously made with banana, the Minions' favorite food — a banana cake layered with fresh cream and crisp chocolate, topped with a banana-flavored Mont Blanc cream. Colorful fruit and crumble evoking the candles complete the dish.
Guests can enjoy the dessert while taking in views of Nagoya from 140 meters above the ground, recalling a scene from the film with family or friends over summer break.
