(Tokyo, Minami-Aoyama; Chairman & CEO: Sachiko Asano), will host the "Ken Imai Naples Pizza Fair" for three days from February 21 (Sat) to 23 (Mon, National Holiday), 2026. The event features pizza by Ken Imai, who became the first Japanese to win at a Naples competition. Reservations will be accepted from February 1 (Sun), 2026.
Naples, with its view of Mount Vesuvius overlooking the Bay of Naples, has been a sister city of Kagoshima since 1960 due to the similar beautiful scenery of the sea and volcanoes, with Kagoshima featuring Sakurajima floating in Kinko Bay. Kagoshima is blessed with wonderful ingredients nurtured by its rich natural environment, including fresh seafood from nearby markets and high-quality locally produced pork. This event will feature a menu using carefully selected Kagoshima ingredients combined with pizza that fuses Imai's techniques and passion cultivated in Naples.

Ken Imai Biography
Ken Imai began his culinary career in his early twenties under his father at an Italian restaurant.
At age 27, he transitioned to the path of pizza-making, working at a famous pizzeria in Japan.
In 2013, he moved to Italy and gained experience at "La Figlia del Presidente" in Naples, earning the absolute trust of owner Maria and demonstrating his skills.
In 2016, he worked to open "La Figlia del Presidente Bashamichi," the first branch in Japan.
In 2019, he competed in the Classic Margherita category of the "5th Trofeo Pulcinella" pizza contest held in Naples. He achieved the historic feat of becoming the first Japanese to win the championship, where everything from ingredients and preparation methods to form, oven use, and work conduct is strictly judged.
Currently, as Executive Chef of "La Figlia del Presidente Bashamichi," he welcomes guests daily while working to promote the brand and spread Naples pizza to as many people as possible.
