Shabon Dama Soap Launches First-Ever Pop-Up Shop "Our SHABON Room" at Fukuoka PARCO

Shabon Dama Soap Co., Ltd., a pioneer of additive-free soap based in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, is opening its very first pop-up shop, "Shabon Dama Soap Our SHABON Room," at Fukuoka PARCO. The event runs from March 28 (Sat) through April 5 (Sun), 2026, in the main building's B1F event space.

The pop-up marks the company's debut in direct retail events and offers visitors the chance to try and purchase products from the "Our SHABON" skincare series, including the brand's first-ever toner — "Shabon Dama Bare Skin Toner" — which just went on general sale this month. Interactive experience content at the venue includes a digital skin diagnosis that checks your approach to skincare, and a touch-up corner where guests can try the cleanser, toner, and UV product directly on their skin. An original merchandise corner and capsule toy machine are also available.

At the venue entrance stands a "room door" symbolizing the pop-up's world — a portal into a non-ordinary space designed to help visitors unwind and relax. A photo mirror is also available, encouraging guests to snap and share from the moment they arrive.

A digital skin check called "Oteire Mind" lets guests answer a series of questions to understand their current skincare habits. Questions like "What's your skincare routine on a day you don't go out?" or "How do you feel when trying a new skincare product?" reveal results with a playful twist — findings that might make you chuckle while also getting you to rethink your daily routine and discover Shabon Dama's approach to "simple, not-too-much care."

About the "Our SHABON" Skincare Brand

"Our SHABON" (pronounced "Awa Shabon") is a skin health care brand born from Shabon Dama Soap, a company that has long supported people with sensitive and dry skin. The name is a play on "awa" (bubbles, evoking soap bubbles) and "Our" (representing both maker and user). The brand aims to support naturally healthy skin that can perform at its best.

Shabon Dama Soap established the "Our SHABON" brand in 2024 to mark the 50th anniversary of its additive-free soap manufacturing and sales. The first product, the "Jun Sekken Facial Cleanser," launched in March of that year, followed by the "Shabon Dama UV" sun protection product in February 2025 — the company's first sunscreen. This year, the lineup expanded further with the "Shabon Dama Bare Skin Toner," a minimalist formula using just five ingredients. The Fukuoka PARCO pop-up offers visitors, particularly younger audiences, a hands-on opportunity to try these products and take a closer look at their own skin.
