Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel Launches "Strawberry x Cherry Blossom Sweets & Bakery" Fair

Café Toastina at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel (Maihama, Urayasu City) is hosting the third installment of its seasonal strawberry-themed fair, running from January through March. The latest edition, "Strawberry x Cherry Blossom Sweets & Bakery," kicked off on Sunday, March 1, 2026. The fair brings together the flavors of cherry blossom and strawberry to celebrate the arrival of spring, with a colorful lineup of sweets, bakery items, a sweets box, afternoon tea, and a sweets buffet.

Monthly Sweets

Sakura Anmitsu – ¥950

A Japanese sweet with a seasonal flair, this Sakura Anmitsu features strawberry mousse and cherry blossom panna cotta topped with sakura-colored agar jelly, gyuhi (soft mochi), mandarin orange, and sweet red bean paste. A drizzle of black molasses adds a touch of sweetness to this traditional dessert.

Cerisier – ¥950

Named after the French word for "cherry tree," this rare cheesecake is designed to evoke the beauty of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The surface is decorated with cherry blossom petals and ruby chocolate to create a vivid floral effect. Inside, a strawberry gelée adds a pleasant sweet-tart flavor.

Sakura Mont Blanc – ¥950

A spring-inspired mont blanc in a soft, delicate pink hue. Mascarpone mousse is filled with strawberry compote gelée and surrounded by generous swirls of cherry blossom bean cream. Finished with fresh strawberries and salted cherry blossoms, every bite is a taste of spring.

Strawberry and Sakura Danish – ¥550 (pictured left)

A crispy danish pastry made with cherry blossom leaf-infused dough, layered with strawberry custard and cherry blossom-flavored chantilly cream, then topped with fresh strawberries. The gentle saltiness of the cherry leaves and the mild sweetness make this a springtime treat.

Made with dough infused with cherry blossom fragrance and topped with a crisp cherry blossom-flavored crust, this melon pan is filled with strawberry jam and cherry blossom chantilly cream, then dusted with pink-tinted powdered sugar. A perfect companion for a spring outing.
