Tokyu Theatre Orb — Performance Information
IHI presents Musical "Sunset Boulevard" Special Performance
40 years ago, Sarah Brightman was cast as the original Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. After reaching the pinnacle of global stardom as a solo artist — blending classical and pop in a style entirely her own — she stepped away from the musical stage for 30 years. Now, she returns. The role: Norma Desmond in the Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece Sunset Boulevard — a once-famous silent film actress clinging to past glory, who falls for a young screenwriter.
