Shinjuku Prince Hotel to Serve "Record & Winter Afternoon Tea," Featuring Music and Sweets That Color Winter

Shinjuku Prince Hotel (1-30-1 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Manabu Takeiri) is serving "Record & Winter Afternoon Tea — Music and Sweets That Color Winter" at Japanese Dining & Bar FUGA (25F), from Sunday, November 1, 2026 through Sunday, January 31, 2027.

The afternoon tea draws its inspiration from the record culture rooted in the streets of Shinjuku. A tea stand lined with sweets and savories styled after record discs and musical notes, paired with a space where guests can actually enjoy the sound of a record playing, comes together to express a nostalgic, warm "afternoon with music."

The sweets lineup includes the specialty "Forêt Noire-style Parfait," layering dark cherry and chocolate and finished with a record-player motif, alongside raspberry mousse, chocolate macarons, and black tea mousse — a range of wintery flavors. The rich taste of chocolate and berries harmonizes with their fragrant aroma for a lineup that captures the charm of the season.

Savory items include roast beef with berry sauce, smoked salmon tapas, and bisque, letting guests enjoy the balance of sweet and savory unique to afternoon tea over a relaxed afternoon.

A record player is set up in the restaurant throughout the period, so the afternoon tea is served alongside the warm sound that begins the moment the needle touches the record. During the Christmas season, part of the menu changes to a Christmas theme, offering a special teatime that colors the holy night.

Experience a special wintery time where music and sweets intertwine, set against the view of Shinjuku from 25 floors above the city.
